Comanche 3

THE RAH66 Comanche will be the United States Army’s newest attack helicopter when it is in full production early next century.

Comanche 3 will have you flying in campaigns in Ukraine, Siberia, Cuba and Jordan.

Each campaign involves eight missions, and there are also some training missions to get you started. The campaign missions are quite variable, and you will attack trains, convoys, tanks, enemy headquarters, submarines, nuclear reactors and chemical warfare plants.

MAX 2 is a real-time strategy game with a difference – it can also be played as a turn-based game. So it should suit all those mouse-twitch real-time fans as well as those who like to ponder their moves.

It is set in the far future, when humankind has reached the stars. In the original MAX game, humanity was fighting against the Concord, a group of alien races. In the end, humankind decided to join the Concord, where MAX 2 picks up the story.

Set in the South China Seas, KA-50 Hokum puts you in command of a small task-force whose aim is to stop the rampant pirate operations infesting the area.

Every day in the South China Seas, up to 200 ships slow to as little as 15 knots to pass through sea lanes less than 1 mile wide. This leaves them open to attack from pirates, leading to huge losses of cargo, and occasionally lives and whole ships. Some of the large Corporations most affected by this piracy have banded together and hired a small mercenary force to put a stop to it.

Need For Speed High Stakes

NEED FOR Speed High Stakes is the latest incarnation in the Need For Speed series, and it’s one of the best.

There are 21 supercars to drive, on 19 tracks. The line-up of cars is suitably awe-inspiring, and includes the McLaren F1 GTR, Pontiac Firebird, Ferrari 550 Maranello, Mercedes CLK GTR, BMW M5, as well as the Ford Falcon XR8 and Holden MHRT Commodore – more than enough horse power to satisfy any petrol-head.

In High Stakes the cars actually take damage, which is something that has been lacking in previous Need For Speed games. Whenever you crash into walls, cars, or trees the percentage damage to tires, steering and bodywork increases.
